Text: Simon Sinek on millennials in the world

Purpose: To help understand millennials and improve wellbeing through reducing screen time.

So today in wananga class we decided to watch an interview on youtube called Simon Sinek on millennials in the world. He explained that millennials don't have as much patients as other generations do. when they want something they want it now they can't wait. The main part of the interview was about phones and how people are so addicted to them these days and they go on their phones instead of going to a friend for help they distract themselves on mobile devices.
He gave a couple of examples about phones one of them being that they make people less social. He said that people are less social these days and one of the big reasons is mobile phones and even people before meeting are always antisocial there always on their phones waiting. Another example he gives is the second we wake up we are always on our phones and we are always on our phones right before we sleep we are always near our phones.

ReplyDeleteI really like your post about Simon Sinek on millennials in the world. It's great that you've added information about what you did in class and what occured during the YouTube video. It's nice that you've included a purpose, but I think the main part of reflection section is the critical literacy question. So next time can you add that? But I really liked your post and hope reading more of them. Keep up the great work.
